Whose got your back?

At this point in time it is too early to know what the full impact will be, however as businesses and individuals you can consider:

  1. How you manage your employees' feelings and your own?
  2. What can you do to support others to deal with ambiguity?
  3. Taking time to think things through and plan. As those who know and work with me, often hear me saying  "go slow, to go fast".
  4. Ensuring you ask the right questions in the first place to find the solution to the real problem and have a plan B and plan C.
  5. How you lead through change?

It is about continuing to forge and sustain relationships with colleagues in other departments, offices, with partners and suppliers.

It is more than an email, it is about picking up the phone, meeting face to face.

When as a country we have to work together to determine our future path this needs to start with you, your department, your business.

You never know when you will need someone to have your back!

  • Earlier this year, I completed my Mental Health First Aider Training (MHFA) England, something I had wanted to do for a little while.
  • Recently, I was delivering the "First 90 Days in your New Role" for LHH. This is a workshop which generates great discussion around helping people who are still interviewing to find their next appropriate opportunity and to think about how they would answer this question at interview.
