Seize The Day!

US research as far back as the 70's found that spending time in a natural environment helps alleviate mental fatigue, improves memory, cognition and attention span.

What better way to perhaps focus on a goal, or a particular challenge at the moment and reap the benefits of "getting your steps in" and being outdoors, than to join my new "Walk And Talk" coaching programme.  More details to follow!

Realise that in an hour you can have walked 10k steps; potentially resolved a matter at hand and if nothing else cleared your head;
Aspire to repeat this exercise; and
Do make a commitment to give yourself an hour outside and combine this with supporting Cancer Research's challenge of 10k steps a day in June.

Go on you'll feel great afterwards!

  • Earlier this year, I completed my Mental Health First Aider Training (MHFA) England, something I had wanted to do for a little while.
  • Recently, I was delivering the "First 90 Days in your New Role" for LHH. This is a workshop which generates great discussion around helping people who are still interviewing to find their next appropriate opportunity and to think about how they would answer this question at interview.
